Microsoft has announced that Election 2012 will be arriving to Xbox Live on August 27, 2012. Microsoft lists different features, such as
- Live broadcasts of the presidential debates and the “Conversations with the Next Generation” forums
- Information on how users can register to vote
- In-depth data on the candidates and their stands on the issues
- A series of polls seeking Xbox users’ opinions of various aspects of the elections
- Full coverage of the balloting results on election night
Reasons for Election 2012 coming to Xbox Live include getting young people involved, along with allowing the next generation to access technology that will allow information about the political process to be at their fingertips.
